More Christmas delights!

We continue our Christmas adventure to a few more festive hot spots in Hong Kong.  This past weekend, we went to a mall called Times Square in the Causeway Bay section of Hong Kong Island. They have two different Lego displays - one outside and one inside. Like everywhere we go, there were tons of people checking out the displays so getting good pictures can be challenging.  Lucky for me, I have my trusty photographer Zack with me, who perseveres and gets the good shot.  Plus, the fact that he's taller than most people here does help!

Welcome to Lego Land Christmas!  Ho Ho Ho!!

This kid is hilarious!

Now we move on to the inside display...

Words to live by

Overall, it was a pretty cool display and a lot of fun to check out.

Tiffany's has a display set up that includes a carousel.  I thought this tree was quite pretty.  Who doesn't like that Tiffany blue color and it just looks so nice against the tree.

This shot is of Christmas trees for sale at our local grocery store.  They even come with the stand already attached!  Since there's no forests here, I didn't expect to see real trees here.  But, like everything else here, they just ship them in from far away lands - Oregon to be exact.  Sadly, our apartment is too small to support such a tree.  I do like to go over and smell them when I'm at the store.  People probably think I'm weird but I don't care!

Instead, I got a lovely plastic tree from Ikea and have decorated it with local ornaments. You can't really tell from the picture, but there are pandas, lucky cats, bowls of ramen and baskets of dumplings.  I also got a cute Christmas B. Duck. He lights up and the colors change. He is adorable! I was also able to get a pointsettia which I normally can't do because Owen will eat it and that would not be good!

Only a week and a half until we come home =  happiness :) :) :)
